When is the right time to buy or sell real estate?

So here’s some advice regarding the “right” time to buy or sell real estate. If you are buying and selling in the same marketplace then anytime is the right time. If you think you will get more $$ for your house in the spring (and you probably will) then you will also be paying more for the house you will be buying in the spring. If you sell your house for less $$ because it’s the dead of winter then you will probably be paying less for the house you are buying. The difference is going to be the same no matter what time of year you buy and sell. I would suggest that you don’t let the time of year be the #1 deciding factor as to when you will buy/sell real estate. Either way, contacting me to be your Realtor® should be your first step.
